Several rides at Universal Studios Florida experienced technical difficulties and were down for a period of time Thursday, according to park officials.
The theme park announced the ride closures around noon, with most of the rides not opening back up until around 3 p.m. according to reports by WKMG.

The closures left several guests unhappy, with many taking complaints to social media while the rides were down.
“Portions of Universal Studios Florida are currently experiencing technical difficulties, and we are working to restore them as soon as possible,” Universal Orlando Resort’s social media responded to upset guests on X.
Guests were also recommended to keep an eye on the Universal Studios Orlando Resort App for updates.
It has not been disclosed what caused the technical issues.
