Everything Happening This Fall at Walt Disney World

The sidewalk vibrates. SILENCE. No one moves on Main Street. Mickey pumpkins glow against the dark, grins as wide as Cheshire Cats. Clack-clack … clack-clack … The Headless Horseman looms larger than anything we’ve ever faced. Dark, a sky of no stars, the horse towers over us, all legs, chest, muscles.

There’s no castle. Disney ducks flee, their webbed feet lost under the clack-clack … clack-kraaak. Our mouths are so dry. A chill cuts through the still air, trailing down our backs like a wet finger. Our eyes sting — horse sweat, smoke and something feral.

If you dare … gather your tricks and treats — that is, tickets plus save the dates — this spooky fall at Walt Disney World.
