Pirate Takeover Set To Return To Alton Towers Resort In February Half Term 2026

Families can join a treasure-filled adventure this February half-term at Alton Towers Resort as the Pirate Takeover returns from 14th – 22nd February 2026.

Families can enjoy a short break packed with live entertainment, family rides and attractions, as well as access to the UK’s only CBeebies Land, where little ones can meet their favourite CBeebies friends.

Guests booking a Pirate Takeover short break will enjoy a bounty of extras, including 1-day theme park entry, pirate-themed hotel entertainment, 1-day waterpark entry, 9 holes of extraordinary Golf, buffet breakfast and free parking.

The infamous pirates of Mutiny Bay are once again taking command of the Resort, bringing a treasure chest of daytime entertainment including, Captain Finn’s Training Camp, The Pirates of Mutiny Bay: The Hunt for the Crown of T’Hulu, Pieces of Eight: Interactive Treasure Hunt and Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE - an awe-inspiring SEA LIFE experience that will educate and entertain with tales of sea monsters and adventure.

Plus, young sailors can climb aboard the returning Battle Galleons: Seadog Starkey’s Sailing School, navigate the waters of Mutiny Bay and put their pirate prowess to the test.
